After a five-week gap from the last home game for Northern Fury, due to the season break and the previous game being re-scheduled due to bad weather, the home support was left disappointed - but also a little hard done-by with the 1-2 result to the visitors, Moreton Bay United.
A last gasp winner to Paul Mikula secured the three points for the Jets. It is three points that could prove crucial come the end of the season.
Northern Fury started the contest on the front foot, taking the lead just seven minutes in with a long-range strike from Jarrod Green.
The sides traded chances before Donggyu Lee restored parity shortly before the half-hour mark.
The scoreline stayed locked until only minutes after having a goal disallowed, to the chagrin of the home crowd, Northern Fury conceded the lead with Mikula snatching the win for Moreton Bay.
The loss leaves Fury in seventh spot, seven points adrift of the sixth-placed FNQ Heat, but with two games in hand.
Moreton Bay Jets return home next Saturday night to host the Brisbane Strikers, while Northern Fury travel to Cairns.
